  • Grosvenor Sport Review

Grosvenor Sport is an off-shoot of the popular Grosvenor Casinos brand. It was only a matter of time before they brought their own sportsbook into the mix. Let’s see what you can expect with our Grosvenor Sport review.

    Registration Process

    Deposit and Withdrawal Options

You can deposit at Grosvenor Sport using the following options:

    • UK Debit Cards
    • Skrill
    • Neteller
    • Paysafecard
    • Bank Transfer

You can pay into Grosvenor with a minimum of £5.

You can use these methods (bar Paysafecard) to withdraw to, and you can do so with a minimum withdrawal threshold of £10. Keep in mind, however, that a fee of up to £5 may apply.

You’ll likely find your withdrawal processes within five working days of your request. However, this can depend on the banking method you use. E-wallets can process quicker, for example.

    Welcome Offer

Right now, Grosvenor Sport is offering a ‘double the odds’ deal on any sport, market and odds available on their sportsbook. Simply by registering as a new punter at the site, Grosvenor will grant you twice the price on your chosen market.

You can take advantage of this deal all the way up to £10 for your first punt. You can then place your bet up to 60 days after claiming the freebie.

As always, check out the fine print, as one thing you might want to be wary of is the block on Skrill and Neteller payments. This is a pretty common condition at some casinos and sportsbooks, however.

    Sportsbook Promotions

Current sportsbook promotions at Grosvenor Sport include weekly acca boosts – from which you can use a maximum of three each week – and a big VAR tie-in.

Football fans who find that their scorers in either Premier League or Champions League matches miss out as a result of ref’s decision via VAR could still get a bet return. Terms and conditions, of course, apply.

It’s also worth looking at Grosvenor’s regular ‘Million Pound Picks’ as well as their weekly giveaways. They are also keen to share out free bets pretty regularly, so keep your eyes peeled on the promotions section.

    VIP Program

The Grosvenor One program is pretty interesting – however, it mainly revolves around the casino side of things. That said, at the time of writing, you can still claim yourself a free bet all the way up to £500.

Grosvenor One gives you discounts at your local casino branch. You’ll need to sign up at your local casino to become a member.

Then, bet at least £25 online on any markets worth more than 1 / 2 and you’ll get to claim a £5 freebie. Make sure you sign up through an email you receive from the brand.

    Pre-Match Betting

Grosvenor Sport offers pre-match betting on more than 25 sports markets. As you might expect, football and horse racing are firmly included, but so are tennis, darts, motorsports and more.

To access all the pre-match betting features at Grosvenor Sports, take a look at the ‘sport’ tab – which you’ll find towards the left hand side of the sportsbook.

You can then scroll through all available sports and markets and start betting at least 10p on each. It’s a low bar to start with, but high rolling is always possible!

    Esports Betting

Yes – it’s perfectly possible to bet on esports at Grosvenor Sport. Right now, the website has markets opening up for League of Legends (LOL), CS:GO and DOTA:2.

We’d like to see more markets open up here, but the fact that esports are included at all is a massive plus.

    Golf Betting

As you’d imagine, golf betting is also a pretty big deal at Grosvenor Sport. There are more than 500 different golfing markets available as of this moment.

Golf punters can also benefit from live scores and fixtures updates in the golf section of the site, meaning that whether you are following the US Open or the Ryder Cup, there’s a lot to get into. The odds here tend to be pretty competitive, too.

    Price Boosts

As mentioned, Grosvenor Sport offers you price boosts right off the bat! Simply by registering, you’ll have access to double the odds on a sport and market of your choosing.

There are also regular acca boosts which open up to you in their own section each week. Take advantage of up to three boosts for your accas and maximise your potential returns.

    Other Betting Specials

Fans of betting specials that fall outside the main sports will be happy to hear that Grosvenor offers regular markets in all kinds of novelties.

For example, you can bet on political events, winners of TV talent show contests, and also BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year.

The odds on these markets tend to be pretty competitive, so make sure to head here first if you’ve got a hunch about a snap election coming up!

    Cash Out and Bet Builder

The Grosvenor Casino cash out feature is well-designed, offering you the chance to get out of a bet if you’re already ahead. It’s not available on all odds and markets, so make sure to take a close look at this feature before you start punting any serious cash.

The bet builder section at Grosvenor is also well-designed, meaning that you can easily build your own bets and slips with the site calculating all the odds for you. Therefore, no need to crack out the calculator any time soon.

    Live Sports Betting

Live sports betting is available for a handful of markets at Grosvenor Sports, but you must make sure that you bet at least £1, or 50p EW equivalent, before you can get access to the live feeds.

Right now, Grosvenor lets you watch and punt on greyhound and horse racing live, meaning your whole racing betting experience takes place on one page.

    Security

Grosvenor is a trusted brand and also receives backing from regulators at the UK Gambling Commission. They’re further regulated by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission.

Money and data is safely locked away and secure. In fact, Grosvenor actually requests that you provide valid proof of ID before you start paying into the site.

At the time of writing, the sportsbook’s security certificates were all up to date.

    Customer Service and Support

Grosvenor Sports offers phone, live chat, and email support.

You can email directly through support@grosvenorcasinos.com. If you prefer, you can call Grosvenor customer service directly on 0800 083 1990.

However, the quickest way we got in touch with customer care was via the live chat option. This is pretty easy to spot in the help section of the website.

Of course, you can also ask for help with your account by speaking to a representative at your local Grosvenor Casino, too.

    Responsible Gambling

Grosvenor offers a few responsible gambling features to help you keep track of your cash. For example, you can set yourself deposit limits. Even if you only visit once a month, it’s good to be able to apply a block on how much you are paying in.

If you are worrying about responsible gambling, this section of the Grosvenor sportsbook is easy to spot. The Keep It Fun section allows you to reach out for additional care and support, too.

    Website User Experience

Generally, Grosvenor Sports offers a user-friendly sportsbook experience. The design of the site may be a little deep and dark on the colours side of things for a few people, but it has a professional edge that some of its competitors are lacking.

It’s easy to find your way to different sports, promos, and to even switch to the casino side of things if you fancy trying something a bit different. You’ll also be able to access your Grosvenor One account easily through the navigation panels, too.

    Mobile

There is a standalone Grosvenor Sports app – simply head straight to the iOS App Store or Google Play store to find it for free.

The mobile experience is very smooth – it’s nice to see the sportsbook scale down well for smaller screens.

If you fancy taking a look at poker and casino through Grosvenor, there are other apps available for each of the brand’s online services.

    Other Betting Options

As mentioned, Grosvenor is a big name in casino gaming. Therefore, it’s not surprising to see that they have a firm library of table and card games online, as well as slots.

It’s easy to access the live casino side of things here, too – it’s up on the top navigation bar. The standalone poker section is also worth checking out if you’re feeling lucky.

    Conclusion and Thoughts

Grosvenor Sports is a great-looking sportsbook with a unique welcome deal, and stacks of sports and markets for you to sample. The odds here tend to be very competitive. The brand might not be as experienced in sports as some of the standalone bookies elsewhere, but there is a professionalism here that’s hard not to love. Have a look and see.

  • Betting Preview: Dubai Desert Classic

    Betting Preview: Dubai Desert Classic

The focus remains in UAE this week as golf fans turn to the Dubai Desert Classic which gets underway in the early hours of Thursday morning, UK time. Emirates Golf Club in Dubai provides the setting, and the list of players in attendance includes some of the best on tour.

    Hatton leads the list

This looks to be a deeply competitive field, and a strong case could be made in support of any of the leading names lifting the title. Traders at major bookmakers have picked their favourites, however, and each of the top betting apps prices the in-form Tyrrell Hatton as the most likely winner at the conclusion of play.

The talented 29-year-old Englishman from High Wycombe has never won a golf major during his career, but his recent stats suggest it’s only a matter of time before he claims one of the sport’s big prizes. Will 2021 be his year?

He was in sensational form when winning the Abu Dhabi Championship last week, leading home the chasing pack by a comfortable and impressive margin. The top names in the game were raving about Hatton’s potential with many suggesting he is destined to become the British number one, passing Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy in the process.

    When and where to watch?

The Dubai Desert Classic gets underway at 04:00 GMT on Thursday, and you can follow all four days of play live on Sky Sports.

    Stats dead against Herbert

Lucas Herbert won this title last year when edging a nervy playoff to record a nine-under-par winning score. That was a dramatic finish and made great viewing for the large TV audience, but a low-scoring and tight end isn’t the norm in this competition.

Four of the last five Dubai Desert Classic winners have posted scores of 19 under par or better, so we are expecting another high-scoring few days of professional golf. The course lends itself well to the big hitters off the tee but the difference between winning and losing the Desert Classic in recent times has been a steady hand with the putter.

    A new champion?

The stats show we have seen a new champion crowned in each of the last five renewals and that trend will put a few shrewd backers off sticking with Lucas Herbert to come and defend his title. Those who do fancy two-in-a-row will be delighted to see their man priced at 50/1 (Unibet).
    Go for the big prices.

We’re taking a few at bigger prices this week to give backers an interest. Matt Wallace is available at 22/1 with William Hill, and he has performed well here in the past, bagging a runner up slot. He plays well in this part of the world and should give each-way backers a run for their money.

Sergio Garcia (each way)22/1 (23.00)William Hill

  • Novibet Review 2021 | UK Bookmaker

Novibet Review 2021 | UK Bookmaker

In this Novibet review, we will be taking a look at what makes this bookmaker one of the most intriguing to punters online.

    About Novibet

Novibet is something of a newbie in the bookmaking world. However, that doesn’t mean you should count them out. While the likes of William Hill may have been around for longer, Novibet got its start back in 2010, launching instantly online.

The company holds a UK licence as well as to operate in the Isle of Man and is overseen by Novigroup. What’s really interesting about Novibet is the fact that their focus has always been on usability and accessibility. Yes, there are still stacks of great markets and sports to bet on, but this brand is arguably one of the most approachable.

Coming into its second decade, Novibet continues to offer more than 25 sports and categories for punters to get into. What’s more, the number of markets you can access per sport here is staggering. Again, it’s another reason why they’ve endured so well over the years.

Other betting sites tend to lead with this idea that they offer the ‘best odds’. Yes, Novibet recognises the need for this, and they are seriously competitive, but it’s not the be all and end all. We’ll explore why a bit further down in our full Novibet review.

    Novibet Bonuses

As you might expect, Novibet has a cheeky welcome deal that’s worth looking into. At the time of writing, new bettors at the site can claim a free £10 bet on the back of their first £20 punt. You’ll need to make sure you place it on odds of at least 7/10, or (1.70), and you’ll get a free bet that expires within 30 days of claiming.

There are other terms and conditions which apply to this deal, too, which means we seriously recommend you take a closer look. You may not always be able to use your free bet or opening wager on specific sports, for example. Thankfully, Novibet goes above and beyond when it comes to keeping the small print really simple.

Do also check out Novibet’s other deals and promotions, which roll out regularly across the sporting calendar. For example, they run VIP clubs which give you a little bit more betting cash. Their horse racing club, in particular, will grant you £10 free for any given week, providing you’ve placed at least ten bets the week before (worth at least £10).

Football fans will also enjoy the acca boosts the website offers regularly, too. You can claim up to £1,500 in extra boosts per claim, meaning it’s well worth looking into.

For more details on the regular promos and the clubs that Novibet runs, check out their promos page and sign up for any available email lists. There’s no better way to keep in touch with the brand when it comes to finding out what goodies they have in store next.

    Novibet Deposits and Withdrawals

Novibet serves up plenty of banking options for punters. The bookmaker currently accepts MasterCard, Visa, and Maestro, as well as payments from Paysafecard, meaning you can top up and take complete control of your betting bankroll.

Thankfully, there are also a few e-wallets supported here, too. Skrill, Trustly, Neteller and PayPal are all supported at Novibet. However, do make sure that the payment method you opt for is supported for withdrawals, too, as this is not always guaranteed.

Unfortunately, you will have to do a little bit of digging to get to some of the banking terms – at least, before you register and log in. We’ve reviewed sites which put these front and centre and given that Novibet supposedly has such a brilliant reputation for usability, this is a bit disappointing.

That said, the terms aren’t that restrictive. The minimum deposit amount is £10 across most payment types. It is also worth keeping in mind that whatever you pay in with, you will need to withdraw with, too.

Novibet withdrawal time tends to be pretty speedy, with most withdrawal methods getting money back to you within 4 days of your request, if not quicker. On the whole, you’ll normally see withdrawal requests processed quickly to e-wallets more than cards. Your own experience may vary.

Do also keep in mind that you may need to prove who you are before Novibet will let you start betting. This tends to be the standard across sportsbooks and casinos these days, so just make sure you have ID to hand as and when requested.

    Betting at Novibet

It’s really easy to find out what you can bet on at Novibet, mainly thanks to its fantastic layout and its list of popular sports and markets. As always, you can expect to bet on horse racing, football, cricket, and tennis markets, but there are also markets available for F1, snooker, darts, ice hockey, baseball, basketball, and even chess!

You’ll also find that there is plenty of chance for you to try out betting on virtual sports, too. Many punters find these markets interesting as they allow you to bet on horse races and football matches at any time day or night. Novibet actually goes one step further than most sportsbooks with this, as they offer virtual basketball and tennis, too! Their virtual scene is one of the best things the Novibet brand has to offer – and it really is what sets them apart from the pack.

The main dashboard at the Novibet sportsbook serves up live scores and chances for you to get in and bet on late or live markets as and when you wish. If you are keen to take advantage of some lucrative odds in the dying moments of a match or race, then these are well worth holding out for.

Betting on sports isn’t all that Novibet has to offer. As with many other bookies online, the brand has also branched out into casino games and slots, meaning that you can easily jump into popular games from the same screen as and when you like.

What we really like about Novibet’s website is that it crams in lots of live information and scoring into one simple space. There are some bookmakers and sportsbooks out there which overcomplicate matters. Therefore, the simple, intuitive, and always updating design here is really appreciated.

    Novibet Customer Care

As one of online sports betting’s most popular names, it’s easy to assume that Novibet would offer up some great customer care options. And you’d be right! It wouldn’t be a fair Novibet review if we didn’t consider this side of things, so let’s see how you can get in touch with the team.

First of all, there’s Novibet’s 24/7 live chat option, which allows you to connect with a member of the customer care staff any time day or night. Using this alongside the website’s handy help and FAQs sections, you’ll be able to self-diagnose and find answers to plenty of different problems.

If you prefer the traditional support route, you can always shoot an email across to Novibet by contacting support@novibet.co.uk. We recommend you try talking to advisors through the live chat first, as it’s likely you’ll get a speedier response.

What’s really interesting at Novibet is the fact that they also have chat support available through Facebook Messenger and Skype, too. Therefore, you won’t even need to leave your favourite messenger apps to get in touch with the team. This is a massive boost!

As always, there’s a phone number you can call, too, if you need help from Novibet. Call them directly on (+44) 01412 805221.

Customer care tends to respond pretty sharpish depending on the avenue you choose, so make sure you try out the live chat functions if you’re in dire need of support.

    Final Thoughts on Novibet

In this Novibet review, we’ve looked through the deals and sports on offer, as well as the general accessibility of the site. It’s also worth noting that the mobile experience here is great fun, meaning you won’t have to stay glued to the desktop or laptop if you want to make a few cheeky bets here and there.

What we really like about Novibet is the fact that it presents a great range of sports and markets without ever getting too confusing. What’s more, its range of virtual sports is seriously competitive. Recent global events have pushed punters more and more towards the virtual scene, and there are more than a few regular markets for you to take advantage of.

We’d appreciate there being a bit more about banking at Novibet being up front and open to new joiners, however, the simple layouts and designs here more than make up for it. Definitely take a closer look at the bonuses and promotions available at Novibet when you get chance, as they may well change from season to season. It’s also worth waiting for special festival and world cup promotions in time!

  • Betting Preview: Abu Dhabi Championship

    Betting Preview: Abu Dhabi Championship

This week’s European Tour returns to our screens, and it’s back with a bang thanks to the hotly anticipated Abu Dhabi Championship. A tournament first staged back in 2006, this year’s renewal begins on Thursday. All four days of play from Abu Dhabi Golf Club, UAE, will be shown live on television to a global audience.

    Westwood back in town

Lee Westwood won this title last year with an unmatched score of 19 under par. That was one of the most impressive cards we have seen from a winner of this title in recent years. His effort would have been enough to claim glory in four of the last five renewals. The spare is a stunning -22 from Tommy Fleetwood when defending back in 2018.

England’s ‘Westy’ bids to make it two wins in-a-row but he starts as an outsider with all major bookmakers placing Westwood way down the outright betting order. There’s no doubt the 47-year-old is talented enough to repeat the feat but, if he is to finish in pole position this year, it will take a massive effort.

This competition has added significance for Westwood as he bids to secure the Ryder Cup selection and take his place in history. Lee aims for an 11th pick, and that would equal the best effort. He secured his place in the team by winning the Abu Dhabi Championship last year so knows just how important this weekend’s golf could be in his career.

    When and where to watch?

Four days of play begin at 03:30 GMT on Thursday and will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Fleetwood has won two of the last four

Bettors eager to have recent course form on their side when attempting to predict a champion may wish to know Tommy Fleetwood has finished as champion here in half of the last four renewals, taking gold in 2017 and again in 2018.

The 29-year-old Englishman from Southport has finished runner up in both the US Open and The Open Championship since scoring in Abu Dhabi, so backers will have their stake on a man with proven track form and experience performing at the highest level.

It is no surprise to see Fleetwood hold his own with the pre-tournament betting favourites. Those looking to stick with the former champion will be delighted to find odds of 14/1 available at bet365 on Fleetwood regaining the prize.

    Expect high scores

The stats show this is a high scoring competition with the worst winning score of the last five years being the -16 of Rickie Fowler in 2016. This is a course that suits the big hitters off the tee and those prepared to take risks.

Rory McIlroy is the early favourite in the betting at 6/1 (Betfred), and we must agree with the odds-makers on that call. He should get off to a strong start, out before the forecast wind, and we’ve seen before that once Rory gets his nose in front, he’s difficult to budge.

  • William Hill Review | In-Depth Analysis of the bookmaker

How does the sportsbook stack up?

When you’ve been in business for more than 80 years it’s fair to say you must be doing something right. Well, that’s certainly the case for William Hill. The company, which is named after their founder, was formed back in 1934; despite an evolving and more competitive marketplace the London based bookie remains a market leader. Here, we’ll take a look at everything they have to offer with our William Hill review.

It’s no surprise that William Hill have remained at the top of their niche. For a long time they’ve followed a careful sponsorship and expansion plan. That has seen them grow from the United Kingdom to the United States and on to Australia just to name a couple of locations where they carry a strong presence. More recently, they were bought out by gaming giant Caesars Entertainment in a deal worth nearly £3bn.

Right, there is a little bit of the company history but before we dive into the William Hill review, we think it’s important to understand what makes a good bookmaker. We’ll be looking at all aspects of the offering William Hill provide; this will include the sports markets they operate in, the promotions they run for both new and existing customers and through to how they support their customers.

    Markets and odds

William Hill’s own website cites football and horse racing as their key markets within their sportsbook; they have a particular focus on the former at the moment with the 2020 European Championships due to take place this summer. With that in mind, you might not be surprised to learn that the events covered in those sports are fairly extensive and come with competitive odds.

Let’s take football to start. Of course, the five major European leagues are available to bet on but betting options exist for their lower leagues too. On top of that and the bigger cup competitions, you have the more obscure leagues – such as the Sudan Premier League – for both match and outright wagers. Within the fixtures themselves you are spoilt for choice. There is a truly exhaustive list of bet types for you to consider; these range from match betting, goal scorer markets and even on to things like how many tackles a specific player might make.

Horse racing has a similar feel to it; the big events are covered by most bookies and William Hill are no different. The UK markets are the dominant events with race information available several days in advance but it’s not just domestic courses that get that sort of attention. Australia, New Zealand and the USA have plenty of events listed whilst the Rest of the World have their own section. William Hill don’t just limit you to fanfare races like the Kentucky Derby. In terms of what sorts of bets you can place you can opt for the common markets of race winners and each way betting but other options, such as head-to-head horse betting and betting without the favourites are also available.

Finally, you have all the other sports on offer which include everything from the NFL to sailing.

    Special offers and promotions

The next step in our William Hill review is to look at their special offers and promotions. As is common place alongside online sportsbooks you’ll be given an extra incentive to sign up with William Hill. This will be in the form of a “Bet £10 and get £30 in free bets” offer. There are terms and conditions in order for you to activate this offer. That said, it is quite handsome in comparison to the likes of GentingBet who only offer a free bet if your first wager loses. The main small print to be aware of when placing your bet is that your odds will have to be greater than 1/2 whilst the £30 freebie is actually split into two £15 bets.

Beyond the “hook” they offer to new customers, William Hill are not shy of keeping their existing client base interested; it’s a slight change in tact over recent years as they place more emphasis on loyalty. What does this look like? Well, they run a daily “Bonus Drop”. This is a free to enter prize drop that can net you up to £1,000 cash. Another daily game, “Scratch of the Day” gives you the chance to win smaller prizes like free bets and free spins in their casino.

Then there are the mainstream perks like paying out extra places in horse races are common place too. We’re not done yet though, William Hill also what they refer to as “enhanced odds”. This is where they’ll boost the odds of a specific bet; it might be an accumulator, it might be a snooker player to win over a certain number of frames; it could even be backing a horse to win.

    Website and App overview

We’ve established that William Hill are up there with the best of them in terms of market depth and promotions. The next step is to take a look at the technical side of things. After all, nobody wants to mess around with a clunky website or app. Time is money!

Thankfully, William Hill do a decent job on this front too despite a reasonably old school look. If you’re using a desktop machine you’ll find the left hand shows a well laid out menu that is split between “Popular” sports and an “A-Z”. This makes accessing your selected sport very easy. Once selected, the main section of your screen will show the top events for that sport e.g. a list of upcoming football fixtures. The odds are displayed in a really clear and concise manner; options to toggle into different bet types are available in a horizontal ribbon at the top of the page.

From the main page, you can see how many different bets are available ‘under’ each event; this is displayed on the right hand side of the odds with a ‘+’ symbol followed by a number. Whatever that number is correlates to how many different bets can be wagered – for Stockport versus West Ham in the FA Cup third round it’s a staggering 412; proof of that event depth we touched on earlier. By clicking on the specific event your page will change. You’ll now see the top bet types for that event with the ribbon now allowing quick drilldown into the range of betting markets available to you.

You’ll be pleased to know that the mobile website and both apps (iOS and android) are equally as slick. They just use menus working on toggles rather than in fixed columns or ribbon form.

    Banking and safe betting

We’re getting towards that part of our William Hill review that is a) not all that exciting but b) absolutely critical to make sure you get what you expect from the company with whom you might deposit large sums of money. Where William Hill are concerned you are in safe hands.

In respect of deposits and withdrawals you can use a multitude of options. This could be card, Apple pay, e-payment solutions such as Paypal and Skrill and, for those not based in the United Kingdom, even credit card. That’s just a sample of those methods available too. Deposits can be as much as £99,000; although I’d reaffirm the need to only bet what you can afford to lose at this point! Withdrawals can be as low as £5.

It’s worth noting that William Hill offer a detailed ‘Safer Gambling’ section on their website that provides access to different tools to support anyone on a slippery slope. Deposit limits and ‘time outs’ are also available. Again, these are detailed in the same section. Hopefully, you’ll never need them but it’s good to know they’re there.

    Customer Service

The customer service doesn’t score as badly with independent review sites coming in at 3.8/5. It’s pretty easy to see why. The old fashioned means of contact such as phone and email are still options for you but access to a 24/7 live chat and an active encouragement for punters to reach out via social media is testament to the comfort William Hill have in their service.

Beyond the customer to staff interaction, there is a detailed FAQ page whilst a ‘rules’ page in the help section details the intricacies behind the sports and markets available to you.

    Closing thoughts

There is an old saying, “you never see a bookie go out of business”. It’s not 100% true but few would argue with that the sentiment is fair enough. The thing is bookmaking has evolved at breakneck speed over the last decade. Given their historic roots, it would have been easy for William Hill to get left behind. They haven’t though, they’ve adapted and come through the transition exactly where they were; that’s as one of the UK’s leading bookies.

There you have it, our William Hill review. They’re well worth a look.

  • VBet Review

Are you looking for betting that’s a way different from your average sportsbook experience? VBET will likely offer you what you’re after. In this VBET Review, we will take a look at what the site is all about, and what you can expect from betting here regularly.

    About VBET

VBET is something of a ‘different’ sportsbook in the way that they take a very modern approach.  If you’re super tired of seeing the same old bookie layouts again and again, VBET would like a word.

Having been founded in 2003, the operators have two decades of experience in developing gaming and betting experiences. In fact, they have only emerged in the UK in recent times, having become one of the market leaders in their home territory of Armenia.

Since that time, VBET has expanded across Europe, not just offering betting markets but also casino games and more besides. Having blazed the trail to open up online betting in their homeland, VBET’s team has set their sights on creating revolutionary betting experiences elsewhere.

Ok – that’s all well and good – but honestly, how does the plucky Armenian export really square up against some of the biggest established UK bookmakers and betting brands, such as Unibet? It’s time to see what VBET does differently to the mainstream, and to consider whether or not they are worth you paying in and punting with.

Crucially, it’s worth remembering that this VBET review is here to offer an unbiased opinion – before you go ahead and put any money into your VBET account, read up on what we’ve found during our research.

    VBET Bonuses and Promotions

As with all good online bookies, VBET offers new punters the chance to claim some free action on the back of their first deposit.

At the time of writing, VBET offers new bettors free bets worth £10, along with ten extra free spins to use in the casino – right now, you can use these on games developed by NetEnt. To qualify for this, all you need to do is bet £20 on a selection that’s a minimum of 1.8 in odds. Once the bet settles up, claim yourself free credit to stake on another sports market as you please.

However, there’s a twist – you can only claim the free bet if your first punt wins! If you lose, you only get the ten free spins. At least you come away with something – but do always make sure you set your expectations before you go and activate any kind of promo codes.

It’s always worth remembering that terms and conditions, of course, are always going to apply. VBET doesn’t shy away from showing off the small print, which is definitely a good thing.

VBET is also no stranger to boosts and acca deals. For example, the site is known to run acca specials in the form of 50% refunds, which you can then use as a free bet. There are also acca insurance offers, as well as what VBET refers to as their ‘boring football’ deal. If the score line in your chosen match reaches 0-0 (i.e. it’s a boring one), you could claim 50% of your stake back as a free bet.

Make sure you check out the VBET promotions page and sign up for any email lists that come your way. These are your best opportunities at getting your hands on the best deals that head your way.

    VBET Banking and Withdrawals

It’s definitely always a good idea to suss out which payment and withdrawal methods you can use at a betting site before you sign up. Thankfully, VBET is pretty open with this, though we would like the banking section of the sportsbook to be a little more obvious before we have to sign up.

VBET allows you to make payments with UK cards such as those provided by MasterCard and Visa, and you’ll also be able to clear with methods such as ecoPayz. The minimum you can expect to pay into your wallet at VBET is £5 but remember that you’re going to need to bet at least £20 if you really want to get stuck into that big opening deal.

It’s worth making sure that your chosen payment method doesn’t charge for paying in or cashing out. VBET states that they don’t apply any fees themselves, which is refreshing – as there are plenty of sportsbook services out there which do.

Withdrawing from VBET is pretty straightforward. You’ll naturally need to make sure that you don’t have any more wagering requirements to meet, and then you can process a withdrawal from your banking section. Taking money away can take a few days depending on the payment method you choose. However, e-wallet services tend to process money quicker.

Keep in mind that VBET protects its interests and stays within legal practice by following anti-money-laundering, and they may even request you provide ID before you start putting any money in.

With bets available from as little as 10p, there’s lots to play for. Just make sure you watch that small print!

    VBET Betting

VBET offers a wide range of markets across all the sporting favourites, with football, tennis and basketball being big players here. There is also a big virtual scene here, meaning if there are no matches or races left to play out, you can log in and enjoy virtual games at your leisure. There’s also a strong emphasis on in-play betting, which means you can take advantage of some last minute markets even while a match is still ongoing.

VBET serves up pre-match betting, too, and the layout of the sportsbook means it’s always really easy to keep track of what’s happening, and where. The look of the site, too, is a lot brighter than some of the bookies we’ve punted with over the years. Not only that, but it works really well on mobile as well as desktop.

This is where our only real concerns with VBET come in. It’s not a run of the mill sportsbook by any means, meaning that it may not necessarily appeal to everyone who’s bet at UK bookies over the years. However, the intuitive way the site is designed really does help to break down some of the more confusing elements of online betting, and for that reason, it’s certainly worth a look.

As mentioned, VBET offers other gaming and betting opportunities, too. The casino and slots lounge is easy to get to and to move across from, meaning that if you want to diversify your punts, you can put betting to one side and go try your hand at the reels instead.

    Customer Care at VBET

If you need to contact the VBET customer services team, there are a handful of avenues open to you. Check out the online chat first and foremost, as this is likely to be your easiest point of contact if you are already logged in and need support. Head to the contact us section and click ‘chat now’.

You can also email the team at VBET. We’d normally suggest you do this if you have a complex query or a longer concern that’s not suitable for the live chat. However, do be aware that you’re probably going to need to wait a short while before you get a response. Email VBET via support@vbet.co.uk, making sure you include your full name as well as your account number.

What we really like about VBET is the fact that there is also a phone number you can call! Not all bookies offer this customer service option, so it’s a nice surprise to see it pop up via VBET. Call (+44) 0203 582 4005. These lines are reportedly open 24 hours a day, so whether you’re having trouble with banking at a weekend or virtual sports in the middle of the night, there’s always going to be someone you can call.

VBET’s customer care approach is one of its biggest plus points. There are bigger bookie brands in the UK right now that fail to offer this level of support!

    Conclusion

VBET has come a long way since its humble beginnings, but with two decades of online betting under its belt, there are no reasons why the brand can’t continue to grow in the UK. It offers a good array of sports and also serves up competitive odds, making it a website well worth looking into as an alternative to the everyday bookies elsewhere.

VBET does support a sportsbook layout that’s a bit different to what you might expect, though this is by no means a really bad thing. It can take a little getting used to, but the site works wonderfully across all devices, and everything from slips and accounting to available markets are always extremely easy to find.

Therefore, make sure to read the small print on that welcome bonus, and make your way to VBET for sports betting with a bit of a difference. Try it yourself and see how you get on, and don’t forget to keep track of their deals.

  • Betting Preview: Sony Open in Hawaii

Betting Preview: Sony Open in Hawaii

The highlight of this week’s golf schedule comes in the form of the Sony Open in Hawaii as the PGA Tour descends on Waialae. This will be the 56th running of the tournament, first played back in 1920, which has produced some memorable winners over the years.

    Smith back to defend

Waialae County Club plays host to some of the top names on the PGA Tour this week with Webb Simpson, Collin Morikawa and Harris English in attendance and dominating the pre-competition betting at all major sportsbooks.

Cameron Smith won the 2020 version of the Sony Open in Hawaii, carding a winning score of -11 but he had to come through a tense playoff to get his hands on the prize money. Smith is back in the running and back to defend his title, but oddsmakers seem to have put a line through his chances, and he’s much further down the outright betting list than you’d maybe expect to find a recent winner. His form and odds are likely to attract the attention of value hunters.

On the final day, Smith produced the goods to win this trophy last year, staging a late smash and grab after entering Sunday in second place and trailing the leader by three points. The traders also wrote him off on that occasion due to a surprising lack of accuracy off the tee, but it was his cool head with the putter in hand that saw him finish in pole position.

    When and where to watch?

Four days of play begin at midnight on Thursday, and you can follow the action live on Sky Sports.

    English arrives in form

Last week, Harris English stole the headlines when winning a playoff against Joaquin Niemann to scoop the Sentry Tournament of Champions. He birdied the deciding hole to see off his opponent and collect what was only his third title on tour, ending a painful seven years wait for glory.

It’s worth noting English doesn’t only arrive in winning form, he has handled himself well at this venue in the past. He impressed with a third-place finish back in 2015, improving a place from his efforts in 2014. The talented 31-year-old from Georgia will enter relaxed, confident, and ready to continue his winning ways.

    Stats suggest a tight finish

The stats associated with the Sony Open in Hawaii suggest this will be another close contest with plenty of drama. Cameron Smith needed a playoff last year, and that was the second extra hole in three renewals, Patton Kizzire scraping through in 2018 thanks to a winning score of -17.

    Another high scoring Sony Open

This may be a competitive field, but it should be a high scoring affair. This is backed up by the trends with three of the last five winners finishing with a score of -20 or better. The experience and style of play make Matt Kuchar a worthy pick this week.

    Another draw in the making?

Both sides came into this fixture with great form. Before the weekend’s win against Sociedad, Sevilla conceded three goals in seven La Liga games. Atleti’s defence stability is well known as Jan Oblak already kept ten clean sheets in the league. This could be a hard-fought game with fewer goal-scoring opportunities in both ends.

Simply a year after it entered being, it began its first online betting site, concentrating primarily on the sports betting area. Its conception, growth and success have confirmed that this is an effective website and is not one of the scams on the internet casino sites, as we’ll see in this bwin evaluation.

As a website that started up as a sportsbook, it is always interesting to see just how well it does as an online casino, with some pouring all their efforts right into the sporting activities betting side and also dealing with the gambling establishment as an afterthought. However, this turned out to be different from the instance in all.

The bwin gambling enterprise used lots of video games, consisting of some great slots from many leading service providers, traditional table games, pot video games, video poker, live casino games and much more. It likewise supplied its different poker areas, which is excellent if you are a large poker follower. It similarly enabled us the possibility to try its excellent sportsbook that provided a variety of sporting activities as well as markets.
It wasn’t simply the variety of products we discovered remarkable, nonetheless. The whole experience of getting on the website was smooth and wonderful. The entire subscription procedure was smooth and straightforward, with an attractive bonus available in addition to other remarkable promos; the transferring was essential, and the financial options were protected and risk-free. Navigating the website was simple, as whatever was well signposted, and the customer service agents were quick and practical. Overall, we had an excellent experience with bwin online casino.

As an online gambling site that began as a sportsbook and also branched off, it offers many selections regarding internet betting. Naturally, there’s the excellent sportsbook, which was its initial focus. However, the online gambling establishment is exceptional, offering thousands of video games, from one of the most existing ports to timeless table video games from big-name companies such as NetEnt. It additionally has a leading real-time gambling establishment and an online poker area to interest many more players.

  • Mobile Wins Review

    Mobile Wins Review

Mobile Wins is mainly known for its casino, which runs on the ProgressPlay platform. However, the brand has since moved into sports betting – and that’s what we’re going to dive into through our Mobile Wins review. Keep reading for the complete lowdown on what you can expect from the sportsbook!

    Registration Process

    Full details coming soon

    Deposit and Withdrawal Options

You can deposit at Mobile Wins using the following methods:

    • UK Debit Cards
    • PayPal
    • Trustly
    • Bank Transfer
    • Paysafecard
    • Skrill
    • BitPay
    • MuchBetter
    • Trustly
    • EcoPayz
    • Zimpler
    • PayViaPhone

The minimum deposit amount available at Mobile Wins is £10, though this will vary from method to method. You can deposit into your account here with Bitcoin as well as through your phone bill, which are major plus points in our book.

You can withdraw to a handful of the options above, including PayPal, debit cards, banks, Neteller, Trustly and Skrill. You’ll normally see your money come back within seven working days, but likely quicker.

Do watch out for that £2.50 fee for withdrawals, however – a bit of a kickback you might not be expecting!

    Welcome Offer

Mobile Wins lets you claim a £10 free bet when you place and settle your own £10 bet off your first deposit. It can win or lose, but it must be on odds of 1.5 or more. What’s more, make sure you settle this on a single bet. You can win up to £20 from this deal, and once you get the freebie, you’ll have a week to use it. Better move fast, then!

    Sportsbook Promotions

Other promos at Mobile Wins are fairly interesting. There are regular tournaments and leaderboards which help to give the site a bit of a competitive edge – always a good thing. To take part, you just need to pay £10 in and bet at least £50 on the back of a promo code.

Otherwise, beyond the odd free bets that come through every now and again, many of the promos here are based around the casino experience. Mobile Wins was a casino first and a sportsbook second, so this makes sense.

    VIP Program

There’s no VIP program for the sportsbook side of Mobile Wins just yet. However, there’s an interesting loyalty scheme worth getting into if you’re playing the slots or casino games side of things.

This is definitely something we’d like to see added or improved upon in future!

    Pre-Match Betting

Mobile Wins does have an impressive array of sports and markets on offer, especially considering it is a casino brand first and foremost. As always, you can expect football and horse racing to take centre stage, but there are plenty of markets in tennis, cricket, ice hockey, UFC and more.

The caveat in all of this is the fact that pre-match betting markets seem to be locked away until you register. Yes – Mobile Wins does have a pretty nifty write-up that goes into some detail, but we actually want to see what’s on offer!

The odds here are pretty decent – surprisingly so, in fact – so don’t count them out before you head to the exchange.

    Esports Betting

Mobile Wins offers an Esports betting service, putting it firmly competitive with leading bookies supporting markets likewise.
Here, you can bet on events taking place across League of Legends (LOL), DOTA 2, StarCraft 2 and more. There’s more to the Esports side of things here than some of the bigger names in online betting, in fact.

    Golf Betting

Golf is also a sport that’s well-covered at Mobile Wins, but you likely won’t be able to access these markets until you register.

    Price Boosts

There’s not much to see in terms of price boosts at Mobile Wins – but never say never. Keep an eye on their promotions pages and you might get lucky.

    Other Betting Specials

What’s really interesting is that Mobile Wins does offer solid odds on TV competitions and even a few political events. TV and politics are split into their own subsections in the sportsbook.
We’d like to see a few more betting specials and novelties open up here, but on the whole, we really can’t complain.

    Cash Out and Bet Builder

Cash out is certainly available at Mobile Wins, but you’ll only be able to do so through certain sports and markets. It’s worth looking out for a small green icon, which generally pops up to let you know if you can back out and quit while you’re ahead.

Right now, there’s no bet builder at Mobile Wins, meaning you’ll need to stack your bets up the old-fashioned way. If you don’t mind taking a little bit of time to bet separately on your favourite markets, this probably won’t bother you too much.

    Live Sports Betting

For a relatively small sportsbook, it’s great to see that there are live markets available at Mobile Wins. It’s even easy for you to follow several live events together at any one time, and you can watch the results for your favourite fixtures flip over as and when things change.

There are graphics available to help you with in-play betting, but other than that, there is zero live streaming available here. Pretty reasonable to expect from a smaller sportsbook, but again, it’s definitely room for improvement.

    Security

The site is impressively secure, and the certificates for Mobile Wins were valid and active at our last test.

Mobile Wins is fully regulated, with licencing from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), as well as the UK Gambling Commission.

Therefore, you can be sure that the odds here are fair, and that you have just as much chance as anyone else to convert on those cheeky punts.

    Customer Service and Support

It’s pretty easy to get in touch with Mobile Wins representatives. There’s a 24/7 live chat feature which we recommend you try first, and which is easy to launch and get into from the main screen. Service here is pretty swift and always friendly, meaning we have no real issues to talk about here.

There’s no direct phone number you can call to speak to the team, which is annoying, but not the end of the world.

However, there is a direct email address, though it will put you through to the general Mobile Wins customer care team, meaning it’s not specific to the sportsbook. Email the team via customersupport@instantgamessupport.com.

    Responsible Gambling

Mobile Wins has some excellent tools to help you with responsible gambling. To start, you can set yourself limits on how much you want to pay into the site, starting with daily amounts.

You can also set time limits at Mobile Wins, meaning if you are likely to find yourself drifting into the site without realising the time, you’re able to set a curb.

You can also set your own limits to the extent where you can effectively block yourself from using the site for months at a time! This is a nice little addition which, again, we think is well worth setting up.

    Website User Experience

The Mobile Wins sportsbook is generally well-designed and pretty streamlined, meaning it’s never too hard to find your way to different markets and betting options.

Make a point of checking out the different features which are easy enough to launch from the main navigation bars and do also dive into a few of the guides and tutorials if you’re a novice in all things sports betting.

The design and colour scheme are nice and professional enough, though not everyone will get on with the darker shades.

    Mobile

Believe it or not, there’s no Mobile Wins app just yet, but let’s give it time. At the very least, the mobile sportsbook is nice and responsive, and during our tests, we experienced no slowdowns.

Just head straight to the main site from your mobile browser and away you go.

    Other Betting Options

As mentioned, Mobile Wins is best known for being a casino games provider, with scores of big game developers on board, as well as a raft of the popular table and card games that are easy to load up and enjoy on mobile devices.

If you do want to take a look at the casino side of things, you likely won’t be disappointed if you are in it for the variety. Make sure to check out the welcome deals there as well as the VIP club. It’s a nice change of pace.

    Conclusion and Thoughts

The Mobile Wins sportsbook really surprises us in a good way thanks to the range of markets and the usability of the site – not bad at all – but there are definitely areas for improvement.

We think there really should be more emphasis on live betting here, and we wouldn’t mind seeing the back of that withdrawal charge. Otherwise, you’re onto a winner – take a look.

  • Matchbook Review

A betting exchange can be an excellent way to spruce up your betting experience, with among the best-known being none other than Matchbook. Although it also organizes a fantastic gambling enterprise, the operator’s primary offering is sports wagering. Does it tick sufficient boxes for the group at ThePuntersPage to recommend as a tremendous wagering exchange for beginners? Or did it leave us unimpressed? Review our thorough review to find out.

Matchbook has gotten back at much better with an impressive brand-new welcome perk. This review intends to provide you with an excellent means to get started with one of the most effective betting exchanges worldwide. It’s a very generous offer, ideal for many players, giving you what totals up to (close to) a complimentary chance at winning your initial bet.

While there are boosted chances and an online casino VIP program– along with the possibility of added promotions added to the benefits web page or your call information directly down the line– the remainder of the promotions at Matchbook are focused on brand-new players. We concentrated on the essential, welcome incentive over. However, there are others worthy of your consideration.

At the time of composing, the following promotions are readily available for brand-new consumers, including 0% Commission and Bet £10 Get £10.

Nevertheless, we assumed that even if there are better fits for you than these instances, they are still handy examples of the quality you can get out of Matchbook promotions in the present and future.

Matchbook’s range of sports is relatively remarkable, though more comprehensive than some other sportsbooks in the UK.

Of course, all the most prominent markets are covered thoroughly, including football, tennis and cricket betting. Nevertheless, those seeking niche sports like badminton, Solution One or handball, to name a few, will have to look elsewhere.

What Matchbook does not have in the schedule is more significant than offsets. Positioning a back or lay bet is straightforward. In addition, most of the time, odds are readily available and can be changed by making use of the minus signs on your betting slip.

Prices for in-play bets are updated frequently, with helpful arrowheads showing whether the cost on the market is going up or down. Also, Matchbook ensures that players get the most up-to-date odds possible on the most particular niche sports, such as snooker.

If you want to check out a betting exchange, Matchbook is a fantastic area to start. It possesses all the unique features you would expect, thanks to its exceptional customer assistance and frequently asked question area, not to mention its lucrative sign-up offer and the myriad of various other highlights it supplies. Grabbing the brand-new betting method should be very easy with Matchbook, but don’t simply take our word for it– register an account today and also see on your own!
